Nudo is a project born from the idea of an indoor auxiliary furniture. It is a hanger that aims to welcome the user and provides him with the comfort he needs by keeping his personal possessions. Its function is to hold the user's belongings when entering home. It has  a container in the middle of the structure in which all kinds of everyday objects can be stored.
Nudo does not require any type of support to hold its legs. Therefore, simplicity, elegance and comfort are the three concepts that best describe it. These concepts are grouped into one: Mediterranean. The design and its colors were thought as a perfect piece for a rustic house on the Mediterranean coast.
On the one hand, the hanger is made by three wooden supports and a fabric structure made of canvas (which acts like a centre of stability). It does not contain any more materials or elements. On the other hand, the fact that can be folded, allows to easily move the hanger wherever the user wants around the house.
The representation and analysis of the user's behaviour, was key for understanding the different needs. This collage helped me to think about a piece which would be a complement of a house hall.  It basically explains and analyses the process that a user when arriving home.

Prototyping
On this phase, the purpose was to explore how the three wood legs could be stable without any more support than the middle piece. At the same time, the prototyping was useful for designing the contender's patronage.
Process
These photographs show different parts of Nudo's building process. They show some steps like the wood cutting, the use of the sandpaper or the varnishing process. They have been made with an analog camera.
Nudo has been selected to be marketed in a furniture store in Barcelona during the Christmas campaign 2021-2022. This was through a contest offered by the Elisava University in collaboration with La Capell, which is   the store. Here you can see some photos which are on the website.
